I am on a quest, I need to f**k up the school's computers in any way I can! (Its my last year) And I need to know how to get Administrator status so I can get privileges to put things in the C:\Windows folder. If any1 knows how to "hack" windows to get admin status, please tell me :D

Me and my friends did that back in high school we hijacked the desktop wallpapers and froze evry computer in the it lab with a dos attack. Those were great times. Had a friend he was like a genius on computer man he could do all kind of stuff dos attacks hijacks and stuff those here some good pranks

Try pressing F1 from the desktop to get the Help and Support center to come up. Type "administrator password" into the search box. Your school probably has a domain setup for user accounts, so you won't be able to logon to the network. But you will be able to logon to the local computer (make sure that's where you select at the logon screen).

Yeah its a city domain for all school and probobley all the hospital computers aswell in Gothenburg, and then every school/hospital/clinic get an admin. What I was trying to do today was to copy a new .exe in the windows folder and replace it with the old explorer.exe in regedit, but I couldn't get the new exe in there, had to be admin.

if u copy the Shutdown.exe from the system32 file n put in start up then it should shut down the pc wenever it starts or u could pull out the delete key and then put somthin in it n put it back so its like ur constandly holding it down so it deletes everythin they click lol

Have a look around in the folders they let you see and there MIGHT be a folder which every one can view, (Its what they had at my school)
You could put somethings in there such as a batch file and change the shortcut of the file to IE.

Rather than puting the icons in a hidden folder you can always right click and to go Arrange Icons by, then uncheck the Show Icons. ive done this many times and love watching someone get frustrated trying to click a icon thats part of the desktop.

There's a website called crashie.com (crash IE) that will cause the browser to hang if it's accessed with IE. See if you can set it as the homepage.

This year I got into the Yearbook Editors at my school (I'm the design editor because i pwn at photoshop). They have to give us a joint admin account so we can work with some of the heftier programs such as photoshop and indesign.
I used the admin account to find the proxy settings for teh schools servers so now i can get past the censoring and use portable firefox off my flash drive.
I think there is a way to give yourself admin priveleges through a .bat file that launches the command prompt, but teh only thing that i have ever done is a ddos attack on a teachers website that i hate.

One of my friends installed firefox on a computer and made the shortcut to IE go to it. Thats why its blocked at our school now.

man this stuff is gold...we do it all the time...even on some teachers laptops...they get freaking pissed...i hack some pplz account and leave .txt files saying hello...not saying my name of course.

and we have like a drive wher u save all your work and where teachers keep grades and stuff ...its on hidden so i copied all the folders onto my flash drive took it home got to see all my grades before i got my report card xD

batch files are basically well.. Virus's.. Basic ones but they do there job.
there are batch files you can make which will erase everything on the hard drive and make you format it,

Oh and you also don't need any fancy programs to do it, You just need Notepad. :)

batch files are basically well.. Virus's.. Basic ones but they do there job.That's a little misleading. A batch file (*.bat) is just a series of commands. They've been around forever as a legitimate means of automating tasks (they were especially handy back in pre-windows days). But like most legitimate things, they can also be used for mischief.

Anyway, some cool stuff in this thread. :D You know what would be cool? A way to direct all outbound internet traffic to leekspin (http://www.skammich.com/leekspin.html). How joyous it would be to hear that echoing down the halls for an entire day.

Most keyboards have a prtscn button. Usually next to the scroll lock However, by default, they don't actually print the screen. They just take a screenshot and move it to the clipboard. Just open a paint program and paste it. It's actually pretty useful for sites with pictures you aren't supposed to be able to save.

Its so simple - think of it as the kiddy version of DoS, NOTE this may or may not work depending on how they set the network up, you may find it will only affect your room or if your a bit creative take out the whole school. This will cause no real damage, but make the admin or teacher's really MAD, as what they were working is gone. It's so funny.:D

Most schools leave this command open for training purposes or cause they under estimate it's power. all you need to do is to ping every system at once with a large packet unlimited times & increase the number of pings by getting it to duplicate it's self each time buy using a .bat or .ini files. (you'll have to figure out how, im not your teacher)

The increasing traffic will cause systems, switches & Routers will lock up.
To fix you have to turn every thing off then back on.
I'll leave finding the commands up to you. Cause the only way you learn is by doing it

There are 1000's more little childish pranks, but it really depends on the network as most places now run VM machines or a citrix type setup so what ever you do, really is pointless unless you know how it all works HEHEHEHEEH (evil laugh)

Most schools limit how many times you can ping, yet they still let you ping. But who knows... you could get lucky with a dumb Sys admin. =)

For those who are interested in hacking...
If you are really wanting to hack your school you have actually learn computer lingo. This takes time, time I doubt you'd like to take. It's not as easy as opening a program and clicking a button. You must google everything you don't know. You must learn and understand how your school network functions. You must understand Windows operating system. Then you can begin to look up exploits. Exploits such as ARP poisoning. ARP is basically how computers talk to each other... sending packets/frames to eachother. They are like seals... yelling "ARP ARP ARP" <-Joke) Then after this you look up what tools you need, tools that you've probably heard of before such as john the ripper and ethreal. Then you put these in practice and try it out @ your school. So you see this isn't easy and is only fun if you are slightly insane and enjoy computers. :D
