I'm in Seattle earlier than PAX, as I fly out of Toronto on 21st of August. Taking holidays (going to Victoria for a few days) and then back in Seattle from August 24-Sept 1. Was curious when everyone else coming in and where they staying.

I'll be at Hotel Max from August 27-Sept 1 (fly home on a 12:55pm flight)

I'm driving to/from PAX, since I'm within driving distance. I'll be missing the last few hours each night, but oh well.

...am I supposed to know you from somewhere? I don't know anyone from Whidbey Island...(I'm assuming that's where you're from, if you're taking a ferry)

No, I just assumed you could use your E-Stalking Skillz (I belive You named SWkillers School at one point with little to no clues). You Found a Photo of Paul Cristey and a Whole Biography.

Okay, taken off. Although, you yourself put it up on the internet...so why would you not want it here?

Stalking skills +1.

So, how are we going to all meet up as a group? We should arrange a meeting spot or something...or at least all wear an SG t-shirt.

I will be driving into Seattle as well and plan to wear my SG shirt. My wife bought us tickets to PAX for my birthday.

As far as a meeting time...hmmm. I don't know the schedule yet or where we will be etc. Perhaps we can sticky this thread and post as we get closer to the date?

I wish i was a tad bit older. I don't really feel like explaining to my mom why I would be compelled to go down to a game convention to meet up with a bunch of guys from the internet for what will probably turn into a drinking binge haha. Or for that matter why i would want to go to PAX in the first place. You guys had better be there in like 2 or 3 years!

I'm driving in from Houston on the CCST (one of the guys filming it for the DVD), will be getting in at 2pm on thursday at the WSCTC (show up and watch the most massive caravan the road has ever seen, Crecente has nothing on us), staying until sometime Monday

The annual DVD that PA Inc. puts out that covers the entire PAX experience. You can but it at the penny arcade store

My site actually did a 50's style PSA about surviving the CCST, and they asked us to film for this

And now to sound even more naive, what's CCST? Sorry, you're talking to an Aussie here :P

Oh and what's your site?

I will! But Latin, the NYC PAX won't feature Jerry and Mike.

Doesn't matter, as long as we have one lol. Outside of Digital Life & a few larger Lan Partys, NYC doesn't get much love from the tech world. Almost everything goes down in California which I think sucks =) Me & the GF plan to move to San Francisco in 2012. The year she is expected to get her masters. If CA is STILL getting the a majority of the bigger Lans & Expos, we'll move there.

lol it's not long at all. i just have a very demanding job with the crappiest days off. Tuesday & Wednesday =P. I'm a Network Administrator. You have a better chance of hitting the lotto than to get a few days off with that position. I can get 1 day off here & there but figuring the travel time to CA & back to NY to go to work the next day, it isn't worth it. With my Job title however & the years of tech experience I have, I can easily get 1 of the many tech/NA positions that are available in CA. That's why i will make the move to CA if it is still the place to be for geeks =P. Aiming for Silicon Valley ;).

here is the schedule (http://www.pennyarcadeexpo.com/PAX_2008_Schedule.pdf), take note that if you're interested in any of the panels (like the podcasting one on Sunday that everybody MUST attend ) that you may not be able to see every one you want to because there are often 2-3 at the same time.
