Is the site Sarcastic Gamer? If yes, YAY! If not, BOO!

I go to Kotaku and Joystiq on occasion, but mostly I go here.

Well honestly SG is really the only "gaming site" I go on.
So I guess I look for lulz.

I don't look for anything other than it being about gaming. If you name any gaming site, I probably check it.

For podcasts, I typically look into those that have a good amount of humor and off-topic segments, but that still have plenty of constructive discussion of gaming industry topics.

For sites, I look for communities that are neither so small that there are no posts ever or so big that you can't possibly keep up with discussions -- that's one of the main reasons that I love Sarcastic Gamer, it strikes such a balance.

Likes long walks on the beach. Pretty hair. Big blue eyes. Large- Oh um.... Sorry.

If it's different it's usually what I'm into (such as this site). Can't tell you how repetitive some of the most recent gaming sites have been.
I also like N4G and Kataku just because of there lickity split updates.

It depends on the size of nvm, I guess the community.

*shakes head*

I guess the community is a deciding factor, I wouldn't want to be talking with a bunch of randompersons.

heh, the best title for a thread....ever.

I hate to sound superficial but I am attracted to a site first on looks. I will date it a while and know pretty soon if it is going to work out.

If the site has good looks but is stupid, then I give it the old "It's not me, it's you" speech and explain that things are just too complicated right now to commit to just one site.

BUT, if it is a smart site with a good sense of humor and does not take it self to seriously then I will probably join up. I still like to be able to visit other sites though. I need to have my space.

But the thing with SG is that after being with it for just a little time I find that not many other site compare with the way that SG makes me feel. I find myself slowly becoming a one-site man. I will however, visit some of my old sites though just to check in and see how they are doing. I don't think SG will mind because it knows that they don’t mean anything to me anymore.

Well for starters how long does the page take to load. Alot of site put some much crap on that it take ages to load. Are they biased to one thing and are they honest.
How much of their posted info actually intrests me.

Just basic stuff like that. Also If I think about joining their community how many asses are there (to date SG is the only gamming news site I have joined).

Usually, if the podcast draws me in then i'll sign up to the forums and become part, or try my best to become part of the community. SG makes me laugh alot, so I decided to sign up to the forums, i'm only really part of GTR and SG.
