Ok.. you see that? half the damn textures are missing! :huh: wtf? anyone else experienced this? If so how do you fix it? Thanks in advance guys.

Turn your graphics settings down a little, this looks a bit like your Graphics card can't keep up with your game. I think there are settings that you can change to lower the res when you are in a vehicle. Do you have the latest Drivers on your Graphics card?

did ya give it a couple seconds to render?

@slik1000: i have an ati hd4870 with the latest driver from ati's website, so it shouldnt have any trouble rendering this.

@caruso1268: i gave it plenty of time to render mate, nothing. :(

i've only bought the game 2 days ago and i have only played it for about 3 hours. This happens on one of the very first missions you go on, im suppose to find some lady in some mine who we lost contact with ...or something. It happens everytime i load this level. I've been reading alot about this and it seems that maybe the 1.01 patch they released has something to do with it, i installed that patch when i installed the game.. i might try going back to version 1.0 and see what happens.

That's really odd. Really! Turn it down anyway, and see what happens. there may be a fault in there anyway. Just give it a go, just to about 50% of your current settings

Its overheating. I have that happen to a bunch of games when playing on my laptop. Just not enough airflow.

The game might be unoptimized, it happens try running it at a lower resolution,

Ok i fixed it, simple fix really..i don't know why this has to be done but..whatever.
All you have to do is open the configuration utility, click on 'Repair', then click 'Delete local shader cache files'.
Thats it, now it looks like it should :) thanks for all the suggestions guys much appreciated :thumbsup:

Just imagine Mass Effect at a higher resolution, with better controls, free bringing down the sky Dlc, better textures, better squad command/A.I. and finally without the annoying glitches. That is how the pc version rolls.:tongue:
If you really liked Mass effect on the 360 you sould pick it up on the pc :thumbsup:

I've got MEPC too and it's great, can't compare it to the 360 though since I don't own one.

The shadows are a little wierd sometimes, dunno if they fixed it the patch though, haven't played after it came out.

The PC version is well worth playing. In a bizzare twist, it makes the Xbox original look like a shoddy port. :D
