Looks better than Rock Band 2's already imo, Up around the Bend and Hotel California? Brilliant.

I also saw on youtube that the version of beat it will feature van halen!

Exactly what I'm going to do. I never even used the solo frets on my RB guitar, so I doubt I'd use the GH solo frets either, so I'll just get the game and use my GH III guitar.

Finaly some decent bands. Although Im sick of "whats I've done" by Linkin Park.

Also, they sure stole A LOT from RB2's setlist.

OVERALL : I'm thinking RB2 wins here, but I may get the GH:WT disc. That is, unless the other half of this is supremely badass.

i have to disagree with you... this looks 50 times better than GH3. i have the RB2 bundle preordered, but i'll definitely pick up the GH disc now... i was waiting till i saw a track list. this looks better than the RB2 disc, TBH... only thing that's keeping me with RB is the weekly DLC.

Some of the same songs as RB2, but who can really say, who had them first, so I'm not going to say they stole them from RB2, they just released some of their songs later on. Quite a few of the songs here are impressive to me, especially, Hot for Teacher by Van Halen, About a Girl by Nirvana (the one song from the first album that I love), and the Jimi Hendrix Songs. I won't be getting GH:WT, but my brother will. He'll probably get the game with one of the new guitars because frankly we need a new one, since the Les Paul broke, and I think it'd be at least interesting to play with all the guitar's features in the song creator.

I haven't heard of any confirmation from Activision.

It's settled. I'm waiting for GHWT instead of RB2. And I'm getting the instruments with it, as I can't stand my GHIII Les Paul.

Not bad, but Rock Band's still more along the lines of music I like with artists like Bob Dylan and Modest Mouse.

Me too, and they've picked another terrible song 'In The End'. They should have picked a more guitar heavy song. I think i'm leaning towards RB2 now, this list doesn't compare at all, though, I know i'll pick up both eventually.
