Alright, due to my work schedule, this week's gamer night will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 10:00 pm Eastern.

So I have the day and the time, but I don't know what we should play. Because of this, I decided to do another poll.

Please don't vote if you can't show up to play the game you're voting for. Remember, this week, the game is going to be at a different time than normal: Saturday at 10 pm.

I think we'll be doing a poll again next week, and Call of Duty 4 will show up as an option then.

I personally vote for GTA4. We have already played halo 3 and TF2 recently and I really don't want to play RSV, mostly because I don't have it.

I voted GTA4, maybe by the 23rd I'll have 1k gamer points, yay! If we don't play GTA or Halo, I can't come cause I don't have TF2 or RB6V2

I don't think we should play games that we played recently, and that would be Halo.

Shouldn't this be in the news section like it usually is?

It usually isn't as this is deciding the game, when the game is decided it'll go into the news section.

I don't think we should play games that we played recently, and that would be Halo.

With such a limited number of games, we're bound to play the best ones in close proximity to each other. While I fully support the idea of not hosting the same game as the EU night, I can't leave more than one or two games off of the list without alienating a nice chunk of the community. I know when I stopped featuring CoD4 for a while, I got plenty of messages asking when it would return - while at the same time asking when Halo 3 would be played. This was when GTAIV was in full swing.

As my personal game collection grows and I figure out exactly how the community is going to lean in these polls, I'll start rotating the games weekly. Until then, I want to avoid something like the burnout in CoD4 I noticed, or the extremely poor turnout that was Team Fortress 2 (as fun as it was.)

I'm gonna say Halo, since I don't have Vegas, and I don't like the multiplayer options beyond Free Mode in GTA IV. TF 2 would be great, but we played that last week.

Well, I don't think 10 (it was 10, right?) is a bad turnout for TF2, because as much as I lov the community, TF2 can.............................lag, and it usually happens when you are trying to get 12-16 players in a match.
I voted Halo 3, because it is the only thing I own on the list besides TF2. As much as I would like to own GTAIV, I have a hard time justifying a 4 month old game for 60, when I've already got to pay the rest of Fable II and GoW 2 off, along with L4D and SW:TFU. So short answer-I respect the community's decision if the majority want to play GTA IV, and I'll sit this one out, but a smarter decision would be to play something that will get more than 8 people.

However, can we have two Games on Gamer Night? we've done it before...

I also did not think that it was a bad turnout, I actually thought that it would be worse. In all fairness to TF2 though, there was absolutely zero lag for the 2 hours that I played with all you guys. It was a lot more fun then I thought it would be.

This week I would prefer GTA4 (it has been a while since I played that), but I guess if I had to I could play Halo 3.

Play an 8 v 8 match. It will happen eventually.

Because we played it pretty much non-stop since its release almost a year ago.

Halo 3 because of it's flexibility. We could play standard Slayer or SWAT, or we could play some custom maps with race or infection.

Halo 3 for me because it is the only game that I have out of those. I will most likely be able to make it but I am known to be "an unreliable gamer".

$10 says Waffle wishes he could change his vote!

I really hope we play GTA4, but on the off chance we have to play Halo 3, I'll shine my samurai sword! Be advised, I like to show-off as I suck it up.

I didn't have lag either, and I live 5,000 miles away.

but y no cod?
Because its bloody boring after its been played for 7-8 months straight.

GTA can hold 16 people.

Also, when did we have two games for Gamer Night? The Undertow night doesn't count.

We've done it before, and one of the nights has a extremely crap turnout so it doesn't really work.

I would be happy with one game, I really see no reason for two...
I am hoping GTA4 wins, just because it would be a nice change of pace from what we have been doing recently. If regua is there he will probably kick my ass with his helicopter again .

Halo 3 cause I don't have GTA, and Rainbow lags the hell out of me. Also COD4 not there.

Halo 3 Wins!

Since Viatrophy isn't hosting the EU gamer night, I'm taking up the reins. The EU Night will happen Friday, and we'll be playing GTAIV. The NA Night will be Saturday and will be Halo 3.
