I have now finaly got live up and running but now realized I need a new game since all I have with with real online multiplayer is halo 3. I was thinking either bad company or call of duty 4 but only have the funds for one of them. What do you guys suggest for a good game on xbox live?

I would suggest COD4 or Halo 3. There are plenty of SG members on both games. It really comes down to what kind of gameplay you are looking for. Halo 3 has forge, customs, matchmaking, and theatre. Though I haven't played COD very much it has customs (I think) and matchmaking with perks, prestige, as well as a large community which both games have.

For campaign Halo is best for co-op and for COD it is more of a single player experience.

There are also many good games coming out soon though too.

can u wait a while? fable 2 (Oct. 14) and Gears of War 2 (Nov. 7th) are well worth the wait. I preordered GOW 2 cuz Im going to Disney World the day before it comes out. So, once I get back from Disney World, I can devote my attention to Gears 2. Rest assured that I'll kick your ass. Just later.

I'm more into battlefield:bad company right now, 24 players, vehicles, classes, unlockable weapons, experience point system, huge maps---it is really neato.

welll you could wait for GoW2, Fable 2 or one of the other many games coming out but I would get BF:BC if you want fun but if you want to play tactically play COD4

Call of Duty 4, easily.
BFBC is good yeah, but not many members of SG actually play it, plus as your only allowed a party of 4 its a bit boring.

You just need - Halo 3, Battlefield: Bad Company & CoD4 to be ready to blast away with friends.

I would play Cod4 over any but I would wait for GoW2 or if you can't wait get GoW1 too thats a really fun game.

COD4!!!!

It's the BEST game. Tons of people still play it, and every aspect is perfect! On the other hand, it WILL kill personal shooters for you. Don't expect to enjoy any other shooters (besides COD5) if you play it.

If you're sure you wanna get either COD4 or BC go for COD4, it is kickass online.
It's my no.1 game when it comes to online multiplayer.
A friend of mine bought Halo3 when it came out and refused to give COD4 a try. I kept telling him to get it and when he finally caved and bought it he wouldn't go back to Halo3 anymore. COD4 has a faster pace than Halo3 and the way you rank up and unlock perks is addictive as hell.

Dude just wait for christmas. Theres no way I'm going to be able to get all the awesome games I want In the next few awesome months. GOW2 and Fallout 3 are musts. Dead Space, Fable 2, FarCry 2, Spore, Civ Rev (I know it's out but I'm poor), The Force Unleashed are close seconds. Of course all of these aren't multi-player but they're all awesome games.

Don't forget Rock Band 2 with better instruments.

COD4 will kick your ass! People have been playing it for nearly a year and you will be seriously out-ranked. But if you're any good at shooters you'll do ok before long.

BF:BC is hella-fun... huge maps, awesome weapons, great vehicles!!! Only bad things: most squad mates don't know how to play as a team and it only has one play mode. "Conquest" doesn't count!

Me? I'm sticking with Uno.:grin:

Seriously though... Get GOW now and put the other $30 on GOW2.:thumbsup:
