Quite simply...

You will need to submit your finished podcast (20 minutes or less in length) in the following format:

96k stereo mp3 (44100/16bit)

If you need help converting your file, this is the place to ask.

ALSO, you will need to submit your new masterpiece to a brand new email address via YouSendit.com (http://www.yousendit.com/):

sgcp@sarcasticgamer.com

DO NOT USE THIS ADDRESS for questions or concerns. It is ONLY for submitting your final finished podcasts.

I think it depends on what recording program you use and the settings of said program. Most programs will let you change the setting.

It's a size issue. Those files need to be hosted somewhere. The Red show is 30 min (usually) and goes up once a week. These podcasts will be going up somewhere around 7 times a week.

At 20 min a podcast, 7 times a week, that's 140 minutes. The Red, Orange, and Blue shows add up to usually around 80 - 100 minutes a week.

Now I realize I'm talking about length, but length = file size. 20 minutes is enough to say what needs to be said, but also small enough to make sure the hosting server doesn't fry.

This is techy stuff, so here seems the best place to out it.

I've set my bluetooth headset now for recording, and I can use GarageBand (Mac) to record and stuff, and it should work better than my inbuilt.

The problem is that anything I record is shortened and cuts off the beginning, and then the talking after it cuts off is not part of the recording shown but is still heard.

Anyone know wth is going?

What Program can you use to record a podcast?

You can use Skype for convo, Call graph for recording whole thing, or Audacity if you want to record separately.

Hope that helps

Have you tried compressing it.
This is a good tool for converting to and from audio formats.
