So we all know about the little big planet vs Killzone 2 bet that the blue show has going.
So as both Fable ans GoW are looking to rock the 360 with both great story lines and action i was wondering if we could have a non-bet . . . bet

Fable 2 hopefully. For the most part because I like that with Fable they decided to actually take the same idea of the game but then put it in a very different setting with so many new things added to it. With Fable 2 they took a lot of things that were so unpolished in it's prequel and hopefully they turn out to be neat shiny rocks of some sort. Maybe even a shiny robot. Even if the game is as short as it's prequel, it's many levels will actually be a worth a lot more attention now. I know for a fact that lot's of people will just try to get their arch enemy to get an STD.

At the other side we have Gears of War 2 which well... Takes off where they left pretty much - six months later (it's not a huge time span either) - and they add some neat features.

Of course, I'm more of a fan of Fable than Gears of War anyway. I can really imagine the sales for Gears of War shooting miles farther through the roof than for Fable, though. Myself, I'll just wait for Fable 2 to come out for PC, like some others here. I might even wait until it becomes ridiculously cheap and fits into my student budget.

As a sequel, Fable 2 will surely be the better of the two. I'm not sure how it will be commercially or anything.

Easy, Gears 2 will at least double the sales of Fable 2.

GoW2. If animathias comes here and votes for Fable, you're officially entitled to kill him.

GoW2, from what I've seen it seems that shooters have bigger communities than RPGs.

I'm a fan of Gears of War, but I think Fable II is more addictive as a game.

Gears 2 will have a bigger community mainly because of the first Gears had a big online community for almost a year.

I'm sure GoW2 will get more sales just like I'm sure Killzone 2 will get more sales for the PS3 than LBP. Shooters are the most played games because of the multiplayer but personally I would prefer to get Fable II as I liked Gears I wasn't the biggest fan and hey I need to make Viatrophys wife pregnant duh!

Gears. Fable was a massivle shallow and linear letdown. F2 is going to have to work hard to get my affections back.

I think Fable 2. Peter Molyneux has done a great job on this, from what I've seen.

However, Cliffy B (or Yung Clifford, C-Diddy, C-Bizzle, or whatever he's called nowadays) and Epic seem to have gone all out on GoW2, as well.

Me, I am more looking forward to Fable 2, because it seems like I could get more out of this game than GoW2.

Gears of war will be gears of war... yeah its pretty good... but....its only going to be Gears 1 with a few new things....

Fable 2 promises a huge tonne of awesomeness....
its appeal is just much higher to me

I voted both. You cant really compare them because theyre different genres, but the important thig is, they're both going to be some of the best of their genres. And as an RPG lover AND an FPS maniac, i have to suppport both.

I'd say Gears 2 will!

I would like Fable to win, but most people who have the Xbox havent evolved past the console FPS yet.

Then why would they be playing gears then? Ha! ;)

Both games are looking great, but I have to think that Gears 2 will sell more because it appeals to a bigger audience. However if I had them both sitting in front of me, Fable 2 would be the first game I put in the 360.

I'll take some flak for this but I'm not really that excited about Gears of War 2:shocked:. Yeah I know stone the non believer and all that crap.

I played and enjoyed the first Gears of Ward, but the characters have all the depth of a puddle, and individuality of a flock of sheep. I enjoy characters with more to them than "hulk... er Marcus Smash!" Sure it was fun but it was fleeting (for me at least). The chainsaw gun was cool as hell the first couple times but by the end of the game it didn't thrill me any more. The second Gears game will be cool especially from what I've seen, but I just don't see it being as fun for as long as CoD 4 has been.

Based off of the previous versions of both games I'm pretty sure I will enjoy Fable 2 more. I know that Fable was short, and Molyneux likes to promise what he can't deliver, but even if he can only deliver on what he's shown in videos it will still be an awesome game. However, I'm sorry to say that I expect Gears will come out victorious as I'm pretty sure most 360 owners don't share my opinion). I also predict that there will be a lot of rave reviews (many scoring the game higher than it deserves:tongue:) for Gears 2 helping it sell well, while Fable 2 will probably receive slightly more realistic ratings.

i think GW2 becasue fan base is bigger but i will buying both fable 2 is goign to be awesome
