2008 a great year for gaming including those to come but your fav ? :grin:

well fifa probably gets the most play but i'm going to go with cod 4 i just can't get enough of that game

Personally I think MGS4 is still the best game to come out so far this year. I don't expect anything to top it for me. The only game that may put up a fight is Fallout 3.

In sheer sales volume, nothing is going to top GTA4 for a long time. The game hasnt even come out on PC yet, or on any platform in Japan. There's still plenty of momentum in that juggernaut.

Its between GTA 4 and MGS 4 according to every single review publication out there.

Personally I put the most hours into GTA4 this year, but I thought MGS4 was better. (Ive only played thru the single player game once. Like, Im sure I will again one day. Ill probably be replaying all my games after I get my HDTV in October or November.)

Game of the the year was obviously Hail to the Chimp though.

MGS4 so far, LBP will probs take second place, Resistance 2 will be third, followed by GTA4 and lastly, but not least, Star wars: force unleashed in fifth place

Both of those games blew me away. I have been having alot of fun with them. I have also been enjoying BF:BC although, I would say that either GTA4 and MGS4 are both much better than BF:BC.

So far mine has to be MGS4, but I am sure once LBP releases that will move into the #1 spot for me.

MGS4. I hate to say it, but I haven't played a single Metal Gear Solid game before MGS4 and I still loved it like crazy. I don't really even like stealth action games, but this one is just awesome. :thumbsup:

Definatly MGS4. Nothing else has come close this year.... so far

My fav game will probably be Mercs 2 go anywhere blow up anything.
At the moment though R6:V2 just loved it although my team do get on my nerves.

probabbly gta 4 for me because everyone was talking about the ending to MGS4 and i felt that i needed to complete it rather than i wanted to complete it
