I need to admit this now; The Game Design Reader can be a tough read. Flipping through it, some sections seem more interesting than others, i.e. some are more academic. Trying to read pg. 642-666 of this book caused me to fall asleep not once, not twice, but three times before I got all the way through it. Partially this was due to a prolonged lack of a full night sleep over several days and feelings of stress, but the book definitely did not help matters in that regard.
