iPhone/iTouch Game of the week (7/20 - 7/26)

Alright so this is a little late, but I have been under the weather lately and was just too lazy to get up off the couch and write anything. So since that is the case I am going to recommend 2 games this week.
Name of the Game: Cube Runner
Genre: Racing (I guess)
Developer: Andy Qua
Price: Of Course Free
Cube Runner is a very addictive racer/flyer. The object of the game is quite simple, control your plane and avoid a bunch of cubes on the screen. The graphics in this game are not spectacular at all in fact there are only two different shapes; an arrow (you) with another arrow under it representing a shadow and cubes. To control your vehicle you merely tilt your iPhone/iTouch side to side.
At first it starts off pretty easy with sparsely populated cubes, but it gradually gets faster and throws more cubes at you making it challenging. The cubes in the first few "levels" are boring red, yellow, and orange colored but as you go along, the game switches to an almost virtual battlefield look with green on black, it looks pretty sweet.
The game has a few options. It comes with three different level packs; easy, medium, and hard which increase both your speed and the number of cubes. It comes with one music track which is pretty cool, but can get annoying after a while so you can turn that off and play your own music instead.
Overall this is a very fun and addicting game, which I think is in part to its simplicity. Anyone can just pick it up and start playing it. Check it out.
Onto game number 2
Name of the Game: Sudoku (Free)
Genre: Puzzle
Developer: Mighty Mighty Good Games
Price: I Shouldn't have to tell ya
This version of sudoku includes 4 difficulties, multiple number notes, smart notes, 4 color schemes and more. This game is great for anyone who just likes to sit back relax and play some sudoku. The number of puzzles are smaller than that of the paid version, but I have played this game a considerable amount have yet to repeat a puzzle (or just didn't remember I played that one). Either way it is a definite download for those in need of a sudoku fix. I don't think I really need to explain much more. If you don't know what sudoku is, I can't help you.
Oh and just a side note for all you seeking the way of the sudoku, sudoku wasn't invented in Japan, it was invented by Howard Garns an American architect in 1979. It was originally called "Number Place", but it was made popular by a Japanese company who changed the name to sudoku, meaning 1 number. There is some random info for you to use to win a beer.
