Eight Days....

So Sony seems to finally making some headway in the console wars after announcing thee Playstation will break even later in the year. I currently own an Xbox 360 and a Playstation 3, but I constantly get grief from people asking me why did I fork out the money for a PS3 when I already had an Xbox.

Two Words.
Eight. Days.

Now, this little gem was first shown to us at E3. 2 years ago.

I had since forgotten about it as nothing new about it was released. But after my friend showed me it again, I began to wonder when this sleeper would hit the shops.

The graphics look amazing and the engine they are using looks phenomenal. The video also shows some gameplay footage, but to be honest, I believe this to be pre-rendered gameplay. The trailer is totally stunning and looks almost perfect. Despite lack of updates on the game's development, I can't help but imagine the possibilities a game like this could bring to the Playstation. From the flame of the lighter to the expression on their faces, the work that has been put in seems unreal. Playstation need a new line of exclusives and with KillZone2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5 and Eight Days on the horizon, It looks like Playstation 3 may yet win the Console war.

You guys probably will have different opinions, and that’s what I love about this place. But in my opinion, Eight Days will set a new standard for Playstation exclusives.

That is of course, If they release it anytime soon....
