Shock and awe: Modern Warfare 2 sells a metric shat ton

Posted 11-13-2009 at 12:14 PM by RaiseHavok
Activision Blizzard certainly doesn't dillydally. As expected, the publisher and developer is already touting the massive success of Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2. A mere day after launch, the company issued a press release declaring it "the biggest launch in history across all forms of entertainment." Bold words, but they are backed by astonishing figures; the kind of news that makes for jaw-dropping headlines.

I expected the game to be a hot seller, but am in awe of...

The cake is delicious

Posted 08-03-2009 at 10:38 PM by RaiseHavok
Prior to its release, Fat Princess was one of my most anticipated games of 2009. Every aspect – from the cartoon violence to the team-based gameplay – seemed to resonate with me from the start. Nothing could deter my excitement. I wanted me some Fat Princess, regardless of what critics said.

I have only spent an hour or so with Titan Studios’ downloadable darling, but I can already tell that it will remain in my game rotation for many months to come. I really enjoy the hybrid gameplay,...
