I didn't get to do much with ExtraLife last year besides be a sponsor... which I was proud to do, but this year, I want to do it ant do it right. So, to get the most I came up with the Extra Life Experiment. We're going to use this charity event to drive TWO areas of medical research. One, helping kids with cancer. Two, finding out WHAT HAPPENS TO ME AFTER 24 HOURS OF GAMING!
Yep, I'm going to chart my progress, hour-by-hour, and post the results on YouTube! I want everyone to see what a sacrifice us gamers are making for the cause, and a good cause at that! If I go crazy from too much Mario and Rock Band... well, it'll be written up in the medical journals, I'm sure.
I was actually really awake last year when it was over. I dropped like a rock as soon as I got in bed but I never really felt an urge to stop during the marathon.
You're not going to be too tired while it's going on, and the kids are going to get some good help so those are most likely the results of your experiment.
Tbh you don't actually feel tired whilst doing the 24 hours gaming. But as soon as you stop and go to sleep it catches up on you.
Also, is anybody else completely confused by Elenora123's post. It's almost as if it's not a real person but an advertising bot that doesn't have a clue why its here. Strange, huh.
