Ds lite problem

I recently bought a ds lite and my first game was chrono trigger. I have a really specific problem. Whenever I try going through the first warp hole the screen turns blue(like your in the hole) and makes no progress. Some say this issue is because of nintendo ds lite anti piracy "lock". is there a anti piracy lock on the ds lite?

... would really want some help resolving this issue...

Yes it's an anti-piracy lock, you dirty thief I'm pretty sure there's a patch for it somewhere

I think there are for the CycloDS Evolution card, but that doesn't work on the DSi anyway so it doesn't really help you.
Your best bet is to buy the game. It's well worth the price, and then some!

ok i will explain this. I bought a game on tradera(swedish ebay) from a guy. I tried out the game and had the problem so I googled it. It said something about piracy. I emailed the guy and he said that the ds lite had no piracy lock. so I'm NOT a pirate i would never pirate a game like chrono trigger btw I recently bought the original SNES game for about 100$

So I asked: is there a anti piracy lock on the ds lite.... you say there is.(Shane86) please post a link so i can prove to this guy that he has sold me a pirated game so i can ban him from tradera and maybe get my money back... thanks in advance!

Gotcha. Fyi, the game is only like $20 on Amazon (US), so it's probably worth your while to purchase it new.

thanks shane! wanted to say that the issue with the guy who sold me the game has been resolved! he gave me my money back
