Over 100? Why, I'll double that:

Is "over 200" acceptable?

Funny how you all hate nintendo but where would the games industry be without them? They SAVED the gaming industry. If nintendo never existed you wouldnt have your Xbox's or PS3's.

Wrong... it was on Atari's watch the industry was tanking.

And again wrong... that's over 200 games "he's appeared in." Not only that, but I easily saw Mario Bros at least 10 times on it's freaking own. They are not just counting new games, ports as well.

saved the industry? Nintendo wishes they saved it, every company would like to believe this heck jack tretton C.E.O of sony actually stated the scenory in which the industry betters is the way in which sony wins but of course he's going to say that what else is he going to say he owns sony?!

My point being that every C.E.O would love to believe their company is the greatest just like every headmaster would love to believe they have the best school. How can you support nintendo? They rejected everything they stood for to milk the cash cow that is the casual market.

Yes they did. In the 80s, the industry was crashing badly due to unlicensed and crap atari titles flooding the market. Had we not had Nintendo, we would not have NEARLY the gaming market we have today.

Don't be such a douche. Personal opinions cant be "wrong". What Atari have contributed to the gaming industry can be equalled be very few, that was my point.

notice it was the NES that saved the industry? That was way back before nintendo's whole casual market milking, yes i accept that nintendo is doing fine and that the company was doing better. What i'm arguing here is that nintendo has turned their back on the hardcore gaming market while leaving the big titles to third party and yes you could argue that new super mario bros wii and super mario galaxy 2 is coming out but there mario titles.

I want more then just the old IPs, nintendo needs a brand new title.

I still don’t see Nintendo’s business plan being sustainable. They seem to primarily make their dollar selling loads of Wiis. They do sell lots of Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit and whatever every month, but PS3s and 360s still sell more software than they do.
So then, what happens when everyone who wants a Wii has one? That’s when I think we’re going to see some trouble for Nintendo unless they actually start making more games more often. Or.. they could release a new system, but I have a hard time believing “casual” gamers will care to get a new Wii when they already have one.
