Try increasing your luck stat or kill them in black world tendency.

It is pure black world tendency. I am going to keep looping until I run out of old spice, then I'm going to raise my luck stat and grab my large sword of searching. The drop rate for this damn thing is ****ing stupid low.

i know im a noob at this game but i have been playing for close to 4 hours and havent leveled up at all am i doing something wrong or what here

When you kill the first Boss Phalanx , first you will feel like you just finished the game (but you are just starting ...) then you can level up your character in the Nexus

Thanks man i appreciate it funny thing is like 10 minutes after i posted that i fought and killed the phalanx still haven't found the level up option but if its in the nexus i'll find it eventually. I might be a little to proud but I somehow managed to kill the phalanx on my first try

Played Demon's Souls last night for the first time in about a week, was pleased that I didn't seem to be rusty at all.

In fact, I was invaded by a black phantom for the first time last night. And... all he did was run away and try to get CPU enemies, including the tough, red eye demons to attack and weaken me while he stays back and casts Soul Arrow on me, sometimes going in to hit with an axe. This was annoying because I was clearly the better fighter as I managed to backstab him numerous times, and I took out all the CPU enemies, even while he was there. Eventually I just backtracked to an earlier part of the castle to look for stuff I missed, and then when he goes to look for me, I finally killed him in a fair fight. Bastard. I got his souls, too.

I have been farming for a while now. I figured it would be easiest to get as much stone farming done and out of the way while the enemies are easier to kill. Almost done. I have knocked out Sharpstone, bladestone, spiderstone, darkmoonstone, mercurystone, and suckerstone. Almost everything else I can get from guaranteed drops. The only random drop stones I need are pure moonlightstone, and 2 marrowstone chunks. So by the end of my second play through I should have all the stones out of the way. I am going for platinum and should have it by the time I am half way through my 4th playthrough.

After all this farming I'll be starting my 2nd play through around soul level 140.
