Since I bought my new PC gaming rig I was really looking forward to christening it with MW2 but Infinity Ward have dropped the ball big time

Who says leaning isnt removed from them all... IW said they wanted to release an identical version on all platforms.... if anything this suggest to me just how much better we really do have it normally in PC-land.

Unlucky all you people who play on PC. I can't believe that a game as massively high-profile as MW2 would have rubbish PC support, especially when, according to most PC gamers, COD4 was so good on the PC. Sounds like you really got screwed. I really don't get that at all; there's nothing wrong with really pushing the console versions, but letting the PC gamers down like that is just not right.

Still though, Space mission, SPACE MISSION!!!!

It is my understanding that with the removal of dedicated servers, the game will still be played via client/server. It is just that you will have to use the servers contracted with activision instead of your own. You can still play via LAN, but you have to play in a private match. It will be this way for the PS3 version as well. Only the 360 will be playing PVP.
