Default PSP Go or PSP 3000

I've never owned a psp of any sort so I have no back log of UMD's. I have a ps3 slim and, I don't know how much this affects things, but my main home computer is a mac. I'm wanting it 100% for games. I don't care about any media/mp3 capabilities. That's what my iphone is for.

PSP Go, I just got one today, and so far I love it. I hate carrying around a ton of UMDs

I usually download games direct to stick. Sometimes via PS3; which is faster. I heard it's faster if you do it via PC as well.

PSP 3000... costs less and you can use all media the system has available... digital or UMD.

If price is not an issue then get a go. I got one last week and love it! it is actually portable. But if you don't care if it is a little bulky the get a cheap 3000 bundle.

Well, reading stuff on the 3000 has me a tad concerned. Sounds like the screen isn't too good? Stuff seems all over the board on this stuff. One article I read said they preferred the 2000 solidly over the 3000. That concerns me.

i agree with Diortem. I own a 3000 and love everything about it, i download games directly from the PSPs PS store, it takes forever but it works good, so idk about any other downloading speeds. Ive also heard that because it is smaller the GO has slightly awkward controlls, but i havent had any hands on experience. I'd go with the 3000 just so you have a UMD drive just in case you need it. (PS the UMD drive is also great. I go on alot of long trips and its nice to be able to swap games with your friends. It seems nobody thought of this yet though...) So id go with the 3000- cheaper, multiple capabilities, original style

lovin' it
