I won't pay a premimun for simply having PS2 games available on the PSN. I'd rather just get a cheap second-hand PS2. But it's definitely something Sony will try to milk as the continually phase out the PS2.
I think the max I'd be willing to play for a regular un-remastered game (even with trophies) is $15. It's not quite the price of the best PS1 games, but it's not too high either.

Nothing really. My PS3 is backward compatible with PS2, so I'd rather just buy 'em cheap on Amazon and get a disc/case/book with it.
Buying PSone classics is different because you can play them on PSP too, but that's not gonna be the case if PS2 games are released on PSN. So there's no benefit to a digital copy.

I disagree, having a digital copy is awesome. I used to be (and still somewhat am) a game collector and like the physical copy but I'm slowly appreciating not having to get up and swap disks. Besides, I can't find Ico for a decent price and would love to buy it off PSN for $15-20. I have a BC and would love to see this happen, if not just for me but for all those without BC consoles.

While I wouldn't mind paying 20 for some of my favorite ps2 titles, I'd think 10 would be a better asking price. Unless they are going to give the games the GOW and GOW 2 treatment and up the resolution (and add trophies). The guys at Santa Monica spent like 4 months working on the GOW collection and you're getting 2 games for 40$ (20 each). It would be unfair to them if they put straight ports out for 20 dollars.
Re: How much would YOU be willing to pay for PS2 games on the PS store?
Come on, let's be realistic here. While everyone's fantasizing about a $10 price, I cannot imagine a world where Sony is releasing these games for less than $20, maybe even $30. They're already selling some PSOne games for $10, so I can already see Sony justifying a higher price, based on what people pay for stuff a generation back. I think, with remastering and (hopefully) trophy support, the best we're going to see is $20.

Well... Games like Final Fantasy 7 could probably catch $30 in my opinion. I've seen them on Ebay for $100+. It would be best for Sony to put PS2 games on the PSN at a price range of $10-$30. While some of us are lucky enough to have a backwards compatible PS3, most of us are not. On both Xbox 360 and PS3 I have picked up many of my favorite games for less than $5. I've picked up every Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon game for $1.99 each at EB Games in Canada. So to stay competetive the price would have to be logical and lower than the price of used games. For Sony, there is much more profit from these as they cut out production, packaging and shipping costs.
Adding trophy support would justify a price increase.

You're telling me. BioShock is $17 (and change) on Amazon. Honestly...the PS1 games are far too high as it stands. I think $7 for the popular ones like FF7 and MGS and then $5 for the others is just fine. Then make "meh" PS2 games $10, more popular ones (like the greatest hits ones that sold loads) $12, and remastered ones at $15-$20. Seems fair to me.
