netflix PS3 impressions

So netflix streaming discs for PS3 owners are now available, has anyone gotten their streaming disc? What are your thoughts, if you have a 360 how does the streaming on the PS3 stack up?

Looks the same to me. The Office looks great on both systems.

The interface for the PS3 is a bit more cumbersome

how do you get a streaming disc? do you get one automatically? i remember signing up for something on netflix to let me know when it becomes available but i haven't heard anything yet...

Can you not use the PSN video store for rentals? What does netflix offer that the store doesnt...

unlimited movies for $10/month... if you rent one movie a month, just use the PS Store, but if you think you may want to watch more than that, it will cost you more in the PS Store. I think this is mostly for people who already have netflix though.

Got mine today, have yet to try it. To get the disk goto netflix.com/ps3, too lazy to link it.

do they count it as a movie you have checked out? cause i have two out. do i have to return the disc?

Nope it is a free thing and the disc says "do not return" on it. It came with the other movies on my q. But the quality is not as good as 360. I have my 360 on wireless and my ps3 on wired yet for some reason it was worse. It seemed audio was not matching to the video. Though my internet is being slow today, router is telling my 1 mbps instead of the 10 I usually get, so that could do it.

I've gone to the netfix.com/ps3 page 4 times to order a disc and each time it says it will but still nothing... will i get an email when it ships?
