So I just got this really nice gaming chair for Christmas and we can't seem to get the sound of my PS3 (Or Broadcast or cable television for that matter) to play through the chair like it's supposed to. I tried plugging the Red and White cables that came with th chair into the chair and directly to the back of the tv in the audio. That didn't work, and it also came with these things to put between each red and white cable(example being the white cable that goes into the chair, goes into this little piece and on the other side you plug in the other white cable, lets say for a PS2 or PS3). Now my PS3 is plugged in using HDMI and I don't know how to get the sounds to play through the chair like they're supposed to. Is there some extra accessory I need to buy or a step i'm missing? I know I didn't give the best description ever, but it's all I got. It would be awesome if you guys could help me out =D

Well from what I've understood from your explanation you've received component cables together with your gaming chair. Normally you should have received some component cables with your PS3 as well.
As the cables you've received with your chair are only extenders you should be able to plug the PS3 cables directly into your chair or use the extenders if you don't want to sit that close to your PS3.
Since the PS3 has a separate port for HDMI and those component cables (the AV multi) it should work. You will probably have to change some settings on your PS3 and you probably won't get audio on your chair and tv at the same time but at least the audio on the chair will work. I don't actually own a PS3 but a friend of mine does and therefor I know you can switch the port which the PS3 uses as output. It should be somewhere in the audio settings.
In any case don't try plugging the component cables into your tv since the ports on your tv are inputs and not outputs.. That means you'll hear nothing, whatever you try.
Hope this helped.

If the HDMI is going from the PS3 to the TV, then all the audio is going to the TV. Your TV needs to have an audio out inorder to get the sound from the TV to the chair. If your TV doesn't have an audio out, then you need to the RGB component cables for the PS3. Then instead of pluging the red/white cables to the TV, you need the extender and send the audio directly to the chair.
