Eoco and I have been debating over which is better; physical manifestations of objects or their digital equivalents?
Above is a poll sort of 'divided' into questions; answer them and let us know! Is it better to have something physically, or digitally?
I personally vouch for physical on the most part: there's nothing like holding a CD, a game case, a photograph, or reading a newspaper, rather than just downloading the tracks with a convenient click or eyes glazing over scrolling through page after page of news feeds.
What about you though?
(Of course, if you like both of one question, feel free to choose them)

I personally like physical, I have tried reading manga on the internet before and I don't like it nearly as much as actually holding the manga and reading it, that pretty much goes for everything else for me with the exception of music (although I accidentally voted only CD).

It really depends on what it is. I would rather have certain physical forms of media(i.e. movies, music and video games) because the sound/video quality is always better. If it is just a picture or news article I would rather get digitally. I think that every form of media will eventually move to digital output because it costs less then physical media but that is not necessarily a good thing.
I want both. A physical copy that can be used as digital media at the same time. Stick a keycode in with each game and let you install it on your console so you dont need the disk to run it as long as you are connected to the internet to verify it. Second hand sales becomes a BIG problem though but I would still love a dual system. Anyway, theres no second hand sales in digital media anyway so we could just scrap it.
I like more things Physical because I like the sense of ownership and being proud of the material.
Like Check out my movie collection stacked to the roof or check out my movie collection on this memory stick... Im more proud of the stack and its cooler to show off.
Im a movie junky by the way.
